We played this in the backyard after Easter brunch, and the whole family got hooked on seeing how many steps back we could take before someone fumbled. The fact that there’s no real egg to clean up made it way more fun than the original game.

My kids and I played this in the living room for an hour straight and nobody got tired of it. The step-back rule actually makes it feel like a real competition, and the fact that there’s no actual mess to clean up is a huge win for an indoor Easter activity.

The "crack" sound it makes when you mess up is honestly the best part, it's way funnier than a real egg exploding. Took us a few rounds to get the soft-catch technique down, but once we did, we were stepping back across the whole living room.
